Is Man at Arms TD eligible for a nomination? The iPad version came out 13th dec 2013 and the iPhone version 23rd Jan 2014. And does Super Crossfighter re-release as a new release?
Here is a chronological list of game releases from 2014, probably need to go back quite a few pages: http://appshopper.com/games/new If someone has a better list then I can post it in a more prominent place; there's a TON of stuff that came out in 2014.
Just posted the last of this year's Game of the Week polls if anyone wants to browse through late releases - http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?p=3434597

Alrighty, that time of the year again... Here's my 10 nominations Helix Glorkian Warrior: Trials of Glork Bloo Kid 2 Battleheart Legacy Wayward Souls Bean Dreams Traps N Gemstones Autumn Dynasty Warlords Inferno 2 Mikey Boots There are others which hooked me, but were/are ports, and have already had their time in the sun on other gaming platforms... But I guess I could mention them anyway:;: XCOM Enemy Within Record of Agarest War Zero VVVVVV R-Type II Final Fantasy VI Banner Saga This was an OUTSTANDING year for iOS gaming! I can't wait to see how it evolves over the next year...
BattleLore. Easily gets 9 of my 10 votes Gets rave reviews but alas the one bad about it is no online play but it is coming. Seabeard a definite distant 2nd. Not even close to the above. Lots of lag and sadly no support replies back from dev. Pretty sad...
1. Ghost Blade 2. Warhammer 40,000 Carnage 3. Lil Smasher 4. Arcane Soul 5. Mech Shooter 6. Full Blast 7. Battle Mage 8. Blackmoor 9. Kitten Taxi 10. Goblin Sword
In no particular order: Super Splatform Monument Valley VVVVVV Fluid SE Monsters Ate My Birthday Cake Traps 'n' Gemstones Rules! Duke Dashington RGB Express - Mini Truck Puzzle Doug dug. I've no idea how I'm going to pick a favourite, so hopefully most of them don't make the final poll! Super Splatform technically came out in December 2013, but I didn't find it until this year and I had so much fun with it that I couldn't help but nominate it. I just noticed that they are all paid games. I haven't deliberately excluded free games, and there have been some good ones this year, but it seems that none of them resonated quite as much with me.
No particular order: MONSTER HUNTER FREEDOM UNITE Battleheart legacy Papers please Oddworld: stranger's wrath Dragon Quest VIII Wayward souls Banner saga Dungeon Quest
All Guns Blazing Vier Minute Mad Bullets Disco Zoo Beast Breakers Halloweeen! Mmm Fingers Perfect Squares Crazy Farming Where's my geek?
Battleheart Legacy Sky Force Hitman GO Helix Bardbarian Goblin Sword Ghost Blade Air Supply SOS 100m Stunt (best one-hander) Highrise Heroes I left two ports out (Bioshock, Stranger's Wrath) and many others like another top highscore one-hander Space Strafer, or Trials of Glork, Traps n' Gemstones, Shadow Blade, Leo's Fortune, etc. etc. etc. Xibalba (ALL devs should take a close look what intuitive top-notch controls should feel like!) My nomination came from having fun, replay ability, hours put in and even more fun i had with all these great titles while playing. A late merry xmas to you all, my TA folks!
Disagree with wayward souls. Played it about 20 min before giving up. Too frustrating to be fun. Great production values and all that, and I loved Mage gauntlet, but this game had none of the adventure or fun of that. Just hard for the sake of being hard and thus no sense of fun. Mage gauntlet is far superior.
That's just like your opinion, man. It is super hard at first. But it truly rewards learning the game, mastering the controls, and really learning how each type of enemy behaves. After you play for awhile the first dungeon becomes a piece of cake. Now, beating the Catacombs with all characters is a much different story. I recommend you give it another shot especially if you liked Mage Gauntlet.
