Best Standard and Wild Decks, Expansion Details, and More 'Hearthstone' Weekly News in 'Touchstone' #115

Hello everyone and welcome to another weekly roundup of the best and most entertaining Hearthstone [Free] news and videos. As is always the case, we are your one-stop-shop that will help you keep up to date with everything going on in the world of the popular card game. This past week was a fun one since we got the first accidental hints at what the next expansion might bring to the game as well as the actual date for the expansion's reveal. We also got a taste of Blizzard's new Arena, and, as always, some of the best Standard and Wild decks of the week. Overall, not the craziest week in the history of the game, but with the new expansion coming up and the rumor mill heating up, expect more interesting news the next few weeks...

Best Meta Decks, Top Podcasts, Fun Videos, and More 'Hearthstone' Weekly News in 'Touchstone' #114

Welcome to another Touchstone Tavern, our roundup of the best Hearthstone [Free] stories and videos from last week. Overall, we had a pretty quiet week without any groundbreaking news, but there's always something interesting going on. We have plenty of decks you can copy if you want to either play some crazy decks or actually climb the ladder. Of course, it's one thing to copy a deck and another to figure out how to play it right. Still, quite a few options. In general, though, it's been a quiet week, and I'm guessing it's going to continue to be quiet until we hit BlizzCon and see what the team has in store for us. Until then, enjoy putting together fun decks...

Best Wild and Standard Decks, Nerfs, Luckiest Combos, and More 'Hearthstone' Weekly News in 'Touchstone' #113

Hello and welcome to another Hearthstone [Free] weekly news and videos roundup. We had all kinds of different stories last week, ranging from the big nerfs going live to questions about the place of Hero Cards in Arena and more. The game seems to be in a peculiar moment right now judging by last week's stories. Even though most are happy with the Frozen Throne expansion, they also see the game as stale and the same decks sticking around for way too long. Then there's the Warrior Fatigue issue and tournament issues more generally, which have left a sour taste to those who enjoy the esports side of things. I'm curious to see what the developers are considering to do to remedy this general feeling of discontent that seems to pervade the community (not that it's a new feeling). Are you happy with the game right now, and do you play as much as you used to?..

Naga Sea Witch, Nerfs, Death Knights and More 'Hearthstone' Weekly News in 'Touchstone' #112

Hello everyone and welcome to another Touchstone Tavern, our weekly Hearthstone [Free] roundup of everything cool that happened last week. The most important news is that we are getting some important nerfs that should change the effectiveness of some powerful decks, although we'll have to wait and see their actual effect. We also got some fun Hearthstone competitions, a great article on designing Death Knights, and some fun videos. I'm glad to see the developers take relatively quick action and give us some nerfs that will hopefully help balance the classes a bit better. The team has been guilty in the past of waiting too long before nerfing cards, so I'm glad to see this wasn't the case this time around. Let us begin...

Card Nerfs, Druid Power Level, Naga Sea Witch, and More 'Hearthstone' Weekly News in 'Touchstone' #111

Hello everyone and welcome to another Touchstone Tavern, our weekly roundup of the most interesting Hearthstone [Free] news and videos. As was to be expected, this week was dominated by the announcement of the upcoming nerfs to some very important cards. We aren't used to Blizzard taking action that quickly, so when the developers announced that they were going to nerf five cards, almost everyone in the community was caught off guard. Every player has been waiting to see Druid nerfed, but the nerfs went beyond that, and not everyone is happy about it. I'm glad to see the developers being more reactive to issues with the game, and I'd rather they go for it and get it a bit wrong than wait for months to ensure they get it 100% right. Let us begin...

Best 'Frozen Throne' Decks, Decks to Beat Druid, and More 'Hearthstone' Weekly News in 'Touchstone' #110

Hello everyone and welcome to another Touchstone Tavern, our roundup of last week's best news stories and videos from the world of Hearthstone [Free]. As was to be expected, there's a lot of talk about the current power levels of Druid and the effects that has on the meta (and the game as a whole). So, we have stories both about getting on the Druid bandwagon and trying to beat Druid decks. There are also stories about the new short Blizzard has unveiled, which is lovely, as well as the results of the Global Games finals. Overall, the world of Hearthstone seems to be all about Druid issues at this moment, and it remains to be seen whether the Druid-mania will soon subside or whether it will continue until Blizzard does something about the current state of the meta. Let us begin...

Druid Too Strong, Frozen Throne Crazy Cards, Disguised Toast, and More 'Hearthstone' Weekly News in 'Touchstone' #109

Hello Hearthstone [Free] players, and welcome to our weekly roundup of the best news and videos. We are in the second week of the Knights of the Frozen Throne expansion, and the meta is still a bit all over the place, although Druid decks seem to be much stronger than most other decks. Players seem to be having fun with the new cards and the Death Knights. This week we have stories on climbing the ladder in an unstable meta, fun Frozen throne decks to play, Frozen Throne bugs and surprises, and much more. Overall, it's been a good week for the game, and it's always fun to get to play with new cards, especially when we see new archetypes and new ideas. I hope you've been enjoying Knights of the Frozen Throne. Now, let's jump into the news...

Hello everyone. I hope you've been enjoying all your Hearthstone [Free] playing and all the card reveals we've been getting. Normally, today is the day we post our Touchstone Tavern news roundup; however, due to some crazy stuff happening during the weekend, we won't be publishing one this week. I will still post some Knights of the Frozen Throne videos to keep you entertained until we return next week with all the craziness that will be post-release Hearthstone. If you weren't keeping a close eye on Hearthstone news last week, you probably missed all the card reveals that happened (close to 100 of the expansion cards have been unveiled), so the various review videos below will keep you in the loop and help you start theorycrafting new decks. So, my apologies again for the lack of a news roundup, and I will see you all next week...

Frozen Throne Reveals, Frost Lich Jaina, Arthas Skin, and More 'Hearthstone' Weekly News in 'Touchstone' #107

Welcome to another Touchstone Tavern, our weekly Hearthstone [Free] roundup of the best stories and videos. As expected, last week was all about the upcoming expansion, Knights of the Frozen Throne, especially because the community has been trying to keep track with and evaluate all the revealed cards. Most in the community seem to be happy with the cards we've seen so far, and I hope that optimism continues even after the expansion arrives. It does look like Blizzard is starting to figure out the kind of content the community enjoys, so hopefully we'll get the best expansion to date. There's a few weeks to go until that, though, so for now enjoy our weekly roundup...

Ticking Abomination, Frost Festival, Balance, Nerfs, and More 'Hearthstone' Weekly News in 'Touchstone' #106

Welcome to another Touchstone Tavern, our weekly Hearthstone [Free] roundup of cool news and videos. Even though we're in the middle of the summer and everyone is pretty much toasting in the sun, the Hearthstone world is still moving along towards the Frozen Throne. We have a story on a new Frozen Throne minion, the first of the latest reveals. We also have quite a few interviews with different developers on various aspects of the new expansion, clarification on the new events and the card pack rules, talk on the current state of the game, and more. Let us begin...

Ben Brode's AMA, Quest Rogue, Lich King, and More 'Hearthstone' Weekly News in 'Touchstone' #105

Welcome to another Touchstone Tavern everyone, our weekly Hearthstone [Free] roundup. We put together the best stories and videos from last week, and it was a pretty good week. Knights of the Frozen Throne, the next expansion, is rapidly closing in, and even though we didn't have any reveals this week (they start on the 24th), we still had some expansion-related talk. There was also Ben Brode's informative AMA, Caverns Below nerf, a silly Lich King ad, and much more. And, of course, plenty of fun and informative videos. Now let's all try and push July to move faster so August, and the expansion, arrive. Long live the Lich King...

'Knights of the Frozen Throne', Hero Cards, Zombeasts, and More 'Hearthstone' Weekly News in 'Touchstone' #104

And we are back this week with our weekly Hearthstone [Free] roundup, and what a week we just had. After hearing many rumors about Death Knights, we finally got to hear the official announcement for the next expansion, and it's Knights of the Frozen Throne. Every WoW player is very excited about the upcoming expansion given the lore behind the Lich King, and it looks like it's the right kind of expansion to draw many lapsed players back in. As you'll read below, the expansion brings some new ideas that will change the way the game is played. Most of our news stories and videos today are about the new expansion, so go grab a cup of coffee and head to the Frozen Throne...

As most of you probably know (unless you're not from the US), this rather long weekend leading up to the 4th of July is a pretty busy one in terms of family things to do. Therefore, we won't have a Hearthstone [Free] weekly roundup today. We will, of course, be back next Monday with probably some great stories about the upcoming expansion reveal on July 6th. That should give us plenty to talk about, especially given how all the pros will definitely be reacting to the new expansion reveal. In the meantime, you should check out the story about the new expansion coming this August as well as the story about Quest Rogue getting nerfed, which has made many people happy...

Card Pack Changes, Token Shaman Guide, Kripp and Kibler Videos, and More 'Hearthstone' Weekly News on 'Touchstone' #103

Hello Hearthstone [Free] players, and welcome to another Touchstone Tavern, our roundup of the best stories and videos from last week. As you've probably heard by now, we got some great news last week about changes in the card packs, changes that should help free-to-play players build better collections for cheaper. We also had some issues with the upcoming Wild Open. You will also read a Token Shaman guide, take a look at the good and bad Un'Goro card designs, and more. And, of course, we have the best videos from the past week. So sit back, grab a cup of coffee, and let's begin...

Disguised Toast Responds, Best Wild and Standard Decks, Best Legendaries to Craft, and More 'Hearthstone' Weekly News on 'Touchstone' #102

Hello everyone and welcome to another Touchstone Tavern, our roundup of the best Hearthstone [Free] stories and videos from this past week. The past week was on the quiet side, with nothing really earth shattering happening. We are officially in the post-expansion lull, so there isn't too much going on. Still, there are some interesting guides on various decks you can put together, a guide on what legendaries you should be crafting, stories on the game's negativity, and more. How is your Hearthstone gaming going? Are you enjoying the current state of the meta, or are you ready for a change and for new cards to come into the game? Let me know in the comments...

Disguised Toast Gets Suspended, Kripp Builds 96K Deck, and More 'Hearthstone' Weekly News in 'Touchstone' #101

Welcome to Touchstone Tavern #101, our Hearthstone [Free] weekly roundup of the best stories and craziest videos. I hope you've been enjoying your card play and that the gods of RNG have been good to you. We didn't have any groundbreaking news last week, but there were still plenty of interesting stories, ranging from Ben Brode talking about the state of the game to Disguised Toast getting banned and plenty in between. The meta seems to be on the more stable side at the moment, which means we don't get too many surprises, but players overall seem to still be fine with the state of the game. How are you enjoying your playtime? Finding enough variety to keep it interesting, or are you already glancing to see when the next expansion will hit?..

Enjoy Our 100th 'Hearthstone' 'Touchstone Tavern' Weekly Roundup

Welcome everyone to our 100th Touchstone Tavern, our weekly roundup of everything cool and interesting in the world of Hearthstone [Free]. Hard to believe that we've reached that 100 issue milestone, which also translates into me doing this for quite a long time. The first time we published this column was May 26th, 2015, so the 100th issue comes just a bit after the two-year anniversary. I hope you've been enjoying reading it as much as I have enjoyed writing it. If you feel like seeing how much the game and the conversations around it have changed, go check out Touchstone #1. Fun times, I guarantee it. And now, enjoy last week's news, today...

Hello everyone and welcome to another Touchstone Tavern, our weekly Hearthstone [Free] roundup of the best stories and videos. And, as you can see, we are up to issue 99, which is pretty crazy if I'm honest. This week we have some cool guides for Un'Goro budget decks—because we all need cheap things in life—talk about the new player experience, one of the most ridiculous matches ever starring streamer Day9, some issues with the upcoming Wild tournament, and more. It's been quite a busy week overall, and we are glad to be able to bring you all those news in one convenient story. I hope you enjoy both the stories and the videos, and I'll see you all next week for our 100th Touchstone Tavern...

Murloc Paladin and Silence Priest Guides, Deck Sharing, Elemental Art, and More 'Hearthstone' Weekly News in Touchstone #98

Hello everyone and welcome to another Touchstone Tavern, our weekly roundup of the best stories and videos from the world of Hearthstone [Free]. Last week was quite an interesting one, with Blizzard announcing some big upcoming additions to the client. I was glad to see that the developers are actively working on ways to improve the game, and I'm hoping for a Tournament mode soon (fingers crossed). We also saw a new way to get free cards, and, more importantly for most players, some very good guides for some of the strongest decks in the current meta. We also had some fun tournaments. Scroll down to read all the stories and watch some of the best videos of the past week...

Reynad Interview, Best Legendaries to Craft, Rogue Quest, and More 'Hearthstone' Weekly News in 'Touchstone' 97

Hello everyone and welcome to another Touchstone Tavern, our roundup of the most interesting Hearthstone [Free] news and videos of this past week. This wasn't the most fascinating week in the history of the game, so don't expect to read any ground-breaking stories. Since we are a few weeks after the launch of Un'Goro, there's an understandable lull in the world of Hearthstone. Still, there were some interesting articles, and it's not every day you get to talk about Buffalo Wild Wings and Hearthstone in the same sentence. There's also an interview with Reynad, talk of Wild, and much more, so let's jump right in and begin...
