Apple took a break from bringing a new title to Apple Arcade last week but made up for it with the release of the major ‘Golden Edition’ update for Cornfox’s Oceanhorn 2. Read about the update here. Before that, SpongeBob: Patty Pursuit hit the service as the second game on the service from Nickelodeon after Loud House: Outta Control. Check out review of that here. This week, The Chinese Room who released the excellent Dear Esther and Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture which has one of my favourite soundtracks in a long time and Sumo Digital that brought Spyder to Apple Arcade, have released Little Orpheus. This is an action adventure game with gorgeous visuals. Check out the trailer for it below:
Little Orpheus is a side scrolling action adventure game split up into short episodes. You play as Ivan Ivanovich dropped into a volcano in an exploration capsule called the Little Orpheus. Ivan vanishes and then appears after a few years with a story about saving the world. If you’re interested in checking it out, Little Orpheus is now available on Apple Arcade. Check it out on the App Store here and keep in mind that it is a 3.3 GB download. For all other Apple Arcade related things, check out our dedicated Apple Arcade forum for discussion on the service and every game included here. Did you enjoy the last few additions to the service?
