Google Stadia Adds 10 More Games to the Service for Launch Day Including ‘Final Fantasy XV’, ‘Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle’, ‘Football Manager 2020’, and More

Last week, Google revealed the launch day lineup for Google Stadia and it was a bit disappointing given the hype and plethora of games revealed initially. There were some heavy hitters revealed but the list wasn’t great overall for people who already play on other platforms. If you missed the original reveal, Google is bringing out a brand new game streaming platform with multiple titles set to arrive through it after launch beginning on November 19th in select regions. The launch day lineup included 12 games as of last week but today, 10 more games have been announced for the service as revealed by Geoff Keighley (The Game Awards).

Check out the full list of Google Stadia launch day games below with the new additions in bold:

  • Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
  • Destiny 2 (Stadia Pro)
  • Gylt (Exclusive)
  • Just Dance 2020
  • Kine
  • Mortal Kombat 11
  • Red Dead Redemption 2
  • Samurai Shodown (Stadia Pro)
  • Thumper
  • Tomb Raider Definitive Edition
  • Rise of the Tomb Raider
  • Shadow of the Tomb Raider Definitive Edition
  • Farming Simulator 2019
  • Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle
  • Football Manager 2020
  • Final Fantasy XV
  • GRID
  • Metro Exodus
  • NBA 2K20
  • RAGE 2
  • Trials Rising
  • Wolfenstein: YoungBlood

With Samurai Shodown now added as a Google Stadia Pro title for all Stadia Pro subscribers, I’m very interested to see how this plays out with a fighting game on a streaming service since this isn’t available on PC yet in any form. The new total of 22 is better but not amazing and the streaming aspect feels a bit worse considering Microsoft is letting players carry over purchases and Xbox Game Pass games to Project xCloud for free for stuff already owned on Xbox or available on Xbox Game Pass. Google Stadia launches on November 19th in select regions with a proper rollout planned for the future. What do you think of the updated launch lineup?
