Google Just Revealed the Full List of Games Available on Launch Day for Google Stadia

Google just announced the full launch day games lineup for Google Stadia and it is a bit disappointing in quantity despite having some heavy hitters. If you missed the announcement, Google is bringing out a brand new game streaming platform with multiple titles set to arrive through it after launch. The launch lineup includes 12 games with 14 more arriving by the end of the year. This is a lot less than other gaming subscription services like Apple Arcade and Xbox Game Pass had at launch.

Check out the full list below:

  • Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
  • Destiny 2
  • Gylt (Exclusive)
  • Just Dance 2020
  • Kine
  • Mortal Kombat 11
  • Red Dead Redemption 2
  • Samurai Shodown
  • Thumper
  • Tomb Raider Definitive Edition
  • Rise of the Tomb Raider
  • Shadow of the Tomb Raider Definitive Edition

Gylt is the only exclusive so far and details for other upcoming games are here. The launch day lineup does have Red Dead Redemption 2 that recently released on PC and will have Samurai that is currently only on PS4 and Xbox One. I’m very interested to see how a fighting game works on Google Stadia. The service launches on November 19th in a few countries and is essentially a paid beta at launch given the rollout. Pricing for the service is a bit confusing with you having to buy games and pay for the service monthly. You can download the app on Google Play for Android here right now ahead of the service’s release next week. What do you think of the launch lineup so far?
