Apple Arcade Round-Up: NBA 2K22, Wurdweb, Angry Birds Reloaded, Taiko No Tatsujin Pop Tap Beat, and More Get Big Updates

Unlike the last few weeks that saw a new Apple Arcade Original or an App Store Great, this week sees many big updates arrive on the service without a new game. If you missed out on the last few weeks of new releases, read this. The first major update of the week actually arrived a few days ago in wurdweb 2.0. wurdweb 2.0 brings in a sequence of 500 new puzzles, redesigned challenges, progress popups, new language puzzles, support for the Apple TV remote, redesigned menus, and much more. This is the first big update for wurdweb in a few months and the excellent word game keeps improving on Apple Arcade. NBA 2K22 Arcade Edition has added a new NBA All-Star 22 court, jersey, and lineup in the MyCareer and The Association modes. NBA team rosters, attributes, and ratings have been updated as well alongside an ew replay mode.

Angry Birds Reloaded has added the Mighty Eagle as a daily reward in today’s update while Temple Run: Puzzle Adventure brings in 60 new puzzles and a new set of tournaments for the game. Taiko no Tatsujin Pop Tap Beat has added in support for notifications for new content, new songs including Baby Shark, You’ve Got a Friend in Me, Taiko no 2000, and more. RAC7 Games’ Sneaky Sasquatch has gotten its monthly update and it has added in a new electronics store, a phone to make calls from anywhere, new TV Shows, 23 new dances, a new solitaire game for your computer, and much more.

Check out our forum thread for Taiko no Tatsujin: Pop Tap Beat here, Sneaky Sasquatch here, wurdweb here, Angry Birds Reloaded here, Temple Run: Puzzle Adventure here, and NBA 2K22 Arcade Edition here. I’m interested to see how this does compared to last year’s game and also how Apple and 2K support it through the year alongside NBA 2K22 Next Gen. Head over to our dedicated Apple Arcade forum for discussion on the service and every game included here. What have you been playing recently on Apple Arcade?
