IUGO Releases Third and Final Installment of ‘Toy Bot Diaries’

IUGO mobile has released the final episode in their three-part series Toy Bot Diaries [App Store, $3.99].

The third and last entry of the epic Toy Bot series offers a crescendo of challenges, superb levels and an exciting conclusion to this iPhone classic

Fans of the original Toy Bot Diaries [App Store] and Toy Bot Diaries 2 [App Store] will certainly want to pick up the third in the series.

The game is a puzzle platformer which continues the ongoing adventures of a Toy Bot trying to regain its memories. The main character comes equipped with a magnetic grappling hook and magnetic boots to get past all the obstacles. The new version takes you into space with new levels and challenges. The game starts off in space in a weightless environment which can add a new dimension to the gameplay.

If you haven’t tried the Toy Bot Diaries series, we highly recommend it. The game is very well designed and makes good use of the iPhone as a game controller. It remains one of the best examples of what we’ve described as a “true" iPhone game. A free demo version of the game is also available [App Store, Free].

    um.... although both inspired by geometry wars; this upcoming game looks just like dropship

    @dannys95 - I recently purchase and played some of Dropship and I can tell for fact that the two game are nothing alike... short off maybe some "glow" effects and black background. Dropship is played like Asteroids on one screen with limited camera movement. Also, as you can see Circuit Strike's primary camera is top down. ngmoco did a great job with Dropship but it is a very different game coming from similar inspiration.

    Finally a game that

    1) Has a refined and visual style that looks fantastic
    2) Exhibits some good gameplay

    A game that is made for the game, not potential profits and I will certainly keep an eye on this (Especially as it looks like its going to be a Rez type game :D:D:D:D:D:D:D)

    Played the internet version....it is awesome. :D

    played the internet version

    the controls are so stiff

    your rotation is not smooth

    instead of rotating in small increments, it seems you rotate 15+ degrees at a time

    i'm sure this can easily be fixed

    @applesauce25r624

    Hence the "more asteroids-like" gameplay.

    @applesauce25r624

    Thats why they say it plays more like asteroids.

    Hey guys - Thanks for the WAY TOO early reviews!! ; ) We had to take down the web demo because that was an early alpha build and does not reflect the final game or control scheme. The game camera has been enhanced, the controls have been refined, reverse thrust added, new enemies classes created, and 3L3TRONIC is currently working on the final music for the game. Right now I am adding the music visualizer vfx. This is where it gets fun : )

    An official beta test is coming up soon, so just email me and we will select a handful of testers when the time comes. Stay tuned and thanks again for your interest in CS.ONE.
