The existence of an Injustice 2, a sequel to Warner Bros. and NetherRealm's 2013 smash hit Injustice: Gods Among Us, was first leaked via some marketing materials back in June of last year. The success of the original game on console and PC, and it's overwhelming success and ability to print money on mobile, pretty much guaranteed that a mobile sequel would be coming, but this past February it was officially confirmed by way of Injustice 2 on mobile soft-launching in the App Store. Recently NetherRealm announced that Injustice 2 would be launching on mobile on May 11th, just prior to the console release next week. Well, the App Store typically operates a bit offbeat and this case is no different: Injustice 2 [Free] is now live worldwide in the App Store 2 days ahead of schedule.

I played Injustice 2 pretty extensively during the soft launch, and even wrote up a guide on maximizing your energy usage in the game, along with some additional information and tips. Since then the game has been updated and tweaked quite a bit so while I'm not too sure how helpful the guide will be anymore it does still give you a good idea of the various systems at use in the game. If you're familiar with the original Injustice mobile game, the same core concepts are here but it's definitely expanded upon and much more strategic. If it reaches even half of the success of the original game we'll likely be playing this one for years to come. Check it out for free with the link below, and share your thoughts about it in the brand new forum thread. Oh, and being that this launch came a little early, there's still time to pre-register and claim your Catwoman character if you haven't done so already.

The game got worse since v1.0. You get less energy each day, it's harder to obtain new characters or upgrade ones you have, arena became more grindy. And with every update it'll be more and more grindy, if you want to win decent amount of gems.

So the usual f2p BS, unless users become whales. The only f2p game that has one of fairest business models is fire emblem heroes.

I love the story mode, but that's about it. I liked the first better.
