Price Drops: 'Momonga Pinball Adventures', 'Dungelot' and 'The Lords of Midnight'

posted February 19th, 2013 3:39 PM EDT by Jared Nelson in $0.99, $1.99, Featured, Free, Games, iPad Games, iPhone games, iPod touch games, News, Sales, Universal

Yesterday was a holiday here in the US, so we took it a bit easy around TouchArcade Towers. However, there are a few notable game sales going on that are worth highlighting, especially if you had yesterday off too and today is technically your "Monday." Nothing cures a case of the Mondays like some cheap or free games, I always say. However, be quick – a couple of these sales started yesterday and things can change in the blink of an eye in the world of the App Store.

Momonga Pinball Adventures, $1.99 → 99¢ - [Review] - [TA Plays] - [Forum Thread] - A cute and colorful adventure game built around the mechanics of pinball.

Lords of Midnight, $4.99 → $1.99 - [Review] - [Forum Thread] - The late Mike Singleton's classic RPG adventure, respectfully and tastefully ported to iOS in tremendous fashion.

Swing King also went free as well. A good game.

I've heard fantastic things about Dungelot. Downloading! ^_^

I love that game. They're constantly updating it to and tweaking things to make it better.

You know I bought it despite the fact that I thought it might be too casual and boring but it's actually perfect for IOS and they are constantly balancing.

I also think Dungelot is a great game- I've easily gotten 20-30 hours out of it. It's like a lesser Diablo II, and I don't mean that as an insult. And the developer really is very responsive- he's already made a number of changes that many people asked for. You can't go wrong here.

Got Lords of Midnight and I must say that game is worth much more even from initial price; now for a couple of bucks you can have timeless classic that influenced early Elder Scrolls .

One of these days Desktop Dungeons will come out on iOS. For now, I'll take Dungelot.

Obviously I am totally stoked about this.
