The upcoming collaboration between Canabalt [$2.99] creator Semi Secret Software and the "Greg" portion of Solipskier [$0.99] developers Mikengreg, called Hundreds, has finally received a solid release date, as helpfully pointed out by Polygon.

We were first teased with Hundreds in January of this year with a picture of a white circle, and not much else to go on. We then got a chance to go hands-on with the title at GDC in March, and came away quite impressed.

Things went kind of quiet regarding Hundreds since then, until this past October when Semi Secret re-introduced the title noting that many things had changed since the preview version we saw at GDC. Most notably a whole new mode was added along with additional puzzles, sharpened presentation, and an expanded narrative. After a smooth submission process with Apple, today the developers have announced via this very cool trailer that Hundreds will be available on January 3rd.

We'll have more on Hundreds once it finally arrives on the App Store, but given the pedigree of the developers involved in this collaboration we're quite excited to see how the final version turned out. Check in with our forums for more discussion on Hundreds, and keep your eye on this space for the game to drop in the first week of January.
