Surprised there's no Eliminate discussion to be honest. Anyways, I love these podcasts, about to give it a listen.
I guess they held off on Eliminate so they can y'know… play it before they discuss it. Pocket God is kinda putting me off listening to this one, no offense Dave + Allan.

DLing… I like pocket god and the addition of DLC is interesting to me. I'm glad it was added and I am wondering how it will affect apps in general.

the "Pocket God" model seems to work because Pocket Devil is on the top 50. I was never a huge fan of the app (it's not a game it's an entertainment app with no goals) but I admire the developers for updating the app so often.
I really don't get why people complain about being not able to circle strafe in Doom. How many people actually played Doom with Mouse + Keyboard back in the days?
There are level based 2D top down shooters. Our game ArchRobo, Robotic Annihilation is one. Anomaly is another.

think it would be awesome! Like instead of a bird flying around in that world, it could be a Yoshi! And if you put a Mario hat on a pygmie 3 times, Bowser comes out, and the pygmies can fight him in some bizarre way. Your game is awesome! You could also have the yoshi crap and the pygmies could throw it at bowser. I love your game bye!!!!!
