EA's Craig Law has provided us with some of the first screenshots from EA's upcoming Tiger Woods '09 iPhone game. The game was officially announced back in September but a release date has not yet been set.
Law reports that the game is still in development and is still "a couple months away from release".

I JUST PEED A LITTLE.
ive been waiting for this! i play at least 4 or so rounds of gl golf everyday at work.
As Craig alludes in the thread the render quality of these images is likely merely for development purposes only. One hopes to see textures and shadows "on par" so to speak with NFS.
Oh Yes!
good to see this hasn't become vaporware
this is the game I have been waiting for – more than any other – think it suits mobile gaming more than other console ports too
Can't wait!
I've been waiting for a good golf game.
Man, I want this, BAD! They ought to give it to me after the $10 catastrophe that calls itself SimCity I am still fairly peeved about that. And highly mad that they would just price drop the app, instead of fixing it. No, and I mean no fair consideration by EA Mobile support to appease the complaints of at least 2/3 of the paying customers. Instead they choose to try flooding the iPhone community a flawed dose of this broken game. Losing money and loyal customers in the process.
On second thought, I'll buy Gamelofts upcoming Hot Shots clone. Now there is a quality company. Keep your Tiger, you've shown your true"stripes"!
I think i'll pass this one. i'm not into golf
If it's $10, I'll be grabbing this, if it's $20 …. I'll probably wait. I have a feeling that "a few months away" is less about dev time and more about the release of the premium store. I can grab Tiger Woods 07, 08, '09, for my PSP for $20 or less, so unless this is on "par" with those renditions it should be priced at $10.
Looking good, can't wait for the release.
I think Crim is right. I had the exact same thought. I would imagine that this will be one of the flagship games for the premium store.
Tiger is known to be a stickler with his games and really has some input from what I have read, I bet it will be good and I am sure he'll promote it as he does his console version. I'll but this, and to the guy above. Whats you beef with Sim City? I love the iphone version!
@judge
Broken, broken, broken.
Your beef?
