Today, Square Enix announced a delay for Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent on iOS and Android. It was originally scheduled to release in 2019 and despite the first release version being nearly ready, the team has delayed it to make sure post launch story content can arrive in a steady manner for the release. Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent is a single player RPG that is free to play and set in the Octopath Traveler universe. It is now set to release in 2020 for iOS and Android in Japan. A localisation is yet to be announced but considering the free to play mobile game based on Square Enix’s SaGa franchise is getting localised, anything is possible.
