With TGS 2019 set to begin in a few days, Square Enix has put almost all the Final Fantasy games alongside some other classics on a pretty big discount on the App Store. I know many have been waiting on discounts for certain games and now is a great time to fill in the gaps of your Final Fantasy or mobile Square Enix JRPG collection. The games below are all discounted to 50% off for a limited time. If you can’t or don’t want to buy everything below, I’d recommend getting at least Final Fantasy Tactics and maybe Final Fantasy IV. The deals are live until September 16th on the App Store. Hopefully now that Final Fantasy VIII Remastered is a thing on all platforms, Square Enix can get it ported to iOS as well so we can have the first nine Final Fantasy games together on iOS. What is your favourite Final Fantasy game?
If only this sale was to herald the coming of the mobile port of VIII. I love that FFD2 is part of the sale, though. I ended up really enjoying that one. It has a lot of F2P mechanics that I like rolled into its new premium price. So all those F2P monetization schemes are gone.
FF Dimesions 2 was very good I agree. I wish 8 would have came to mobile. I got it for Switch and it's great. I still have my original copy of 8 for PS but it would have been awesome to have mobile and I would have bought both if they had
Id like Romancing Saga and Chaos Rings 3 to get this kind of discount, I do own CR3 but id like my friend to pick it up haha, didnt pick up RS yet though.
Wow.... only $6 for WOTL? Now THAT is a GREAT deal.... if I didn't already have both versions, I'd pick it up ASAP.... It's one of the few games that I've played for the last decade and will probably keep playing for the next 10 years.

I'm kind of waiting for VII + IX to go on sale.... maybe they will around XMAS (and before anyone scolds me - I've still got them both on my PS2, AND I only have 16GB on my phone - so I'd have to clear out all of my favorite games in order to install just one of them, and that's not really something I'd like to do right now.... but.... if they were on sale.... I'd pick them up anyway and save them for a road trip or something.... just.... <shrug> I don't really NEED them on my phone seeing as I've got every other FF game in the AppStore to keep me busy when I feel like playing some Final Fantasy here and there throughout the year.... - okay - now scold away!).
But really - these are GREAT prices for some absolute CLASSIC RPGs, and you'll have a hard time finding much better for the iDevice. I'd FULLY recommend 4 and 6 if you haven't got them yet or (especially if) you've never played them before. Those are my 2 favorite FF's out of the entire catalog that I've played (through XI).
