Spiral Episode 1
First Impressions: ‘Spiral Episode 1’ is a Slick Action RPG for Touchscreen Devices
Way back at last year’s GDC we got our first look at Spiral Episode 1, an action RPG from Pixel Hero Games built in the Unreal Engine. At that time, even though it was early in its development, Spiral looked and played great, offering a unique visual style and made for touchscreen controls. A few months later and the first trailer for Spiral was released, still looking great, with a planned release of its first episode late in the year.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown
Review: ‘XCOM: Enemy Unknown’ Review – AAA Comes to the App Store, Buy This Game Now
XCOM: Enemy Unknown is a game about story. And not just the scripted, overarching pulp-y sci-fi one that it tells. But the one you weave on battlefield tapestries, as you gather enough resources to engage the alien threat. Your choices, your losses, your wins inform the experience, shaping a bigger picture that’s, basically, unique to you. While Enemy Unknown is a winner both mechanically and technically, it’s this triumph in design that makes it worth a shot on any platform that it’s on — including the awesome new iOS version.

Zorbie is a title between the block breaker and shmup genres, a kind of modern powered-up Game&Watch freely inspired by 90s arcade games.
