It was originally revealed through a Facebook ad and has since soft launched on Google Play in some regions. King and Activision officially revealed Crash Bandicoot: On the Run for iOS and Android after that and it has always looked excellent and a great fit for the genre on mobile. With Crash Bandicoot‘s newest mainline entry having recently been confirmed to come to Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X, and later on PC in the form of Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time following the PS4 and Xbox One release, King just confirmed the Crash Bandicoot: On the Run iOS and Android release date. When pre-orders for Crash Bandicoot: On the Run went live on the App Store, a March 25th, 2021 release date was listed. That has now been confirmed by King. Crash Bandicoot: On the Run requires an internet connection to play going by the App Store listing. It includes 50 bosses across 12 different lands going by the YouTube description. Crash Bandicoot: On the Run is free to play with in app purchases included ranging from starter packs to specific purchases like The Barrel, The Crate, and more.
