Crash Bandicoot: On the Run (Free) was originally revealed through a Facebook ad. It was then just titled Crash Bandicoot Mobile and it was being developed by King. It had even soft launched on Google Play soon after. King and Activision officially revealed Crash Bandicoot: On the Run for iOS and Android later on and it looked excellent. With Crash Bandicoot‘s newest mainline entry having released on PS4 and Xbox One in the form of Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, many fans have been wondering about not just a Nintendo Switch port but also when Crash Bandicoot: On the Run will release. The App Store listing for Crash Bandicoot: On the Run reveals a March 25th, 2021 release date. This could change but it is the currently listed release date for the game and since this is published by King, it appears on the developer’s page on the App Store. It includes various in app purchases like The Barrel, The Crate, The Pile, The Vault, and more. Details for these will be revealed closer to launch or when the game goes live for players to check things out. Crash Bandicoot: On the Run requires an internet connection to play going by the App Store description. The gameplay features running sliding and jumping across Wumpa island with various bosses from the series.
