Ever since it was announced for iPad, Company of Heroes ($13.99) is something we have been covering across every new trailer and the final release that followed the initial delay. Feral Interactive brought Sega and Relic’s RTS classic in an excellent conversion. Read my review of it here. As with all iPad debuts from Feral Interactive, an iPhone and Android version were announced. Today, Feral Interactive announced that the iPhone and Android versions of Company of Heroes will be out on September 10th worldwide. Watch the trailer for it below:
If you’re on iOS, Company of Heroes will work on iPhone 6S and later. On iOS, as confirmed before, the iPad version will be updated to be universal so you get the iPhone version for free if you already own it or buy it on iPad right now. On Android, Company of Heroes is officially supported on the following devices:
- Google Pixel 2 or better
- Samsung Galaxy S8 or better
- Samsung Galaxy Note8 or better
- OnePlus 5T / 6T / 7 / 8
- Sony Xperia 1 / XZ2 Compact
- HTC U12+
- LG V30+
- Motorola Moto Z2 Force
- Nokia 8
- Xiaomi Mi 6 / Mi 9 / Mi 9T
- Xiaomi Pocophone F1
- Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro
If you’re interested in checking it out on iPad ahead of its iPhone and Android launch, you can buy Company of Heroes on iPad on the App Store. It is available for $13.99. Since this is a Feral Interactive port, it will actually be supported well on iOS unlike some other premium conversions on mobile that may just stop working and never be fixed with new iOS releases. Check out our forum thread for it here. Have you played Company of Heroes on iPad yet?
