‘Dead Cells’ Android Release Date Announced, iOS Version Discounted for the First Time

TouchArcade Rating:

The fantastic Dead Cells ($8.99) from Motion Twin hit iOS a while ago from Playdigious and we’ve been covering it ever since. We also featured it as our Game of the Year for 2019. I own Dead Cells on Switch, Xbox One, and iOS now. While I haven’t played it much on Xbox yet, I compared the iOS and Nintendo Switch versions in a feature you can read here. Playdigious also confirmed that it is bringing some of the post launch content from other platforms to mobile but a timeline hasn’t been announced for that yet. Today, Playdigious confirms the release date for the Android version of Dead Cells. Watch the Android announcement trailer below:

Dead Cells arrives on June 3rd for Android on Google Play. You can pre-register for the Android version here on Google Play to be notified when it will be available with a 10% launch discount. The regular price will be $9.99 on Android. The game will also be a full premium release for those wondering. To celebrate this news, Dead Cells on iOS is discounted for the first time ever by around 30% depending on your region. If you haven’t bought it yet, read our review of the iOS port here. We featured it as our Game of the Week as well when it released as well. If you’re on iOS, you can buy it on the App Store now. Have you played Dead Cells yet on Switch or iOS?
