One of TouchArcade’s forum moderators wastedyuthe has turned developer and released his first game: Punk Justice [App Store].
Play Jed, a local punk who wants a peaceful life for his family, as he rids his local parks of the gangs that have claimed them as their own.
The $0.99 fighting game offers simple controls (2 dodging, 2 punching) but can be combined for different attacks. See the strategy guide for more info. The game offers 4 gangs/opponents, each having their own speed of attack and 4 ranks of increasing difficulty.
The game is, of course, being discussed in our forums with some first impressions offered. Congrats wastedyuthe!

oh yay i hope big albie's replaced the hodapp guy, just his name makes me want to trust his opinion a whole lot more
Stupid comment. Albi is a wonderful new addition.
But so far, Eli really deliverd huge and great detailed reviews.
He is a wonderful part of TA. And now it's Albis hour, which
is nice, because he really spends alot of money :) :) :)
It's wonderful seeing TA growing. Again, congrats to the two
souls and hearts of this platform, Blake and arn!
how is it a stupid comment, it's true (it's true that it's my opinion.. not saying it's true that albie is better than hodapp)
if i saw a review from someone called Eli Hodapp saying that game x was horrible, and an equally well-written one from someone called Big Albie saying that game x was really excellent, i'd probably buy the game
aside from names, hodapp's reviews are too.. nice for me, like "sales pitches without any real critique"
Does this mean that Big Albie has officially joined the touchArcade review team? I say officially because he really already has. He probably has almost as many reviews as all of the official reviewers combined. :)
Take one thing with another.
Saw it in the app store but steered clear. The enterprise was fighting cardassian hideki class scout vessels in one pic, yeah, only problem with that is about 100 years difference between the era they belong to. Its less canon than fan fiction
haha.. I'm sorry man. I read your post and had to chuckle. That was a very nerdy comment. Thanks!
I picked it up and was playing it in-line to see Star Trek on Thursday. Though the game doesn't really follow the correct timeline it is fun and addictive.
Great post here!

I have been reading your posts during my afternoon break, and I must admit the whole article has been very useful and very well written. I thought I would let you know that for some reason this blog does not display well in Internet Explorer 8. I wish Microsoft would stop changing their software. I have a question for you. Do you mind exchanging blog roll links? That would be really cool!
