‘Street Fighter X Tekken’ Hits the App Store

Something strange is afoot on the App Store. First Rayman Jungle Run hits at a strange time yesterday, now Capcom’s Street Fighter X Tekken ($2.99) appears out of the blue, breaking traditional weekly international release store cycles. Normally, these games would be appearing in New Zealand later this morning. …Not available in the US now.

We’ll have more information on Street Fighter X Tekken as we spend some more time with it tomorrow. But, it’s on the App Store now, and seems like it’d be just as solid as Capcom’s previous iOS fighter offerings. I expect impressions will be rolling in on our forums fairly quickly.

Welcome ! I came to this site about two years ago and never left it. It has turned me into an iOS game freak!

    Tip:
Settings -> General - > Usage, Battery Percentage: ON.

Probably the most useful thing I've done with all my iThings.

I didn't "just get an iPhone 5" (and don't want one either). But I did upgrade my iPod touch 4th gen to iOS 6 and I must say I reeealllyy like it! Seems like a further improvement upon iOS 5 than a complete OS overhaul. Really diggin it.

This new iPhone 5 fueled by the iOS 6 is the marriage of hardware and software at its finest not seen on any mobile device or tablet. Perfection.

"This typically causes our review scores to be weighted more towards the
higher end since we prioritize reviewing games that we enjoy or are
    otherwise noteworthy in some way."

Couldn't agree any less mate. I dread to think of playing through a couple of hours of a game only to give it a one star rating, of which I am sure quite a handful of games out there are deserving of.

The only time I have seen a game on TouchArcade get 2 stars is if the game is highly anticipated, so like it or not you guys play through to give your impressions (i.e. Dead trigger & TASM).

The games I've reviewed so far all fall between the 3 - 4.5 spectrum.

Illusion Labs' Blast A Way was just updated for iPhone 5 and is currently on sale ($2 from $5), a rare event. It supports iCloud now, too, so you can even feel free to pick it up if you're on backorder!

I'm so jealous right now. I had the (mis)fortune of "preordering" my 64GB Black iPhone 5 at Best Buy...who didn't receive any 64GB models in and isn't expecting to for (at most), a month. Thanks, Apple. Well, at least I won't be waiting 6 months like I did for the iPhone 4 two years ago. :-)
