SEGA Reveals More Details for The ‘Bayonetta’ Collaboration with ‘Dx2 Shin Megami Tensei: Liberation’ Including a New Pre-Registration Campaign Leading up to the Release and Here Are the Details

TouchArcade Rating:

A little while ago, SEGA teased and then announced a Bayonetta collaboration event for Dx2 Shin Megami Tensei: Liberation (Free). This is quite interested because SEGA was bringing an IP it hasn’t really done much with to a game based on Atlus’ IP which SEGA also owns and has started collaborating with. We’ve already seen SEGA bring its own IP to Atlus titles like costumes in Persona Dancing games on PS4 and PS Vita. Watch the teaser for the Bayonetta event below:

Today, more details have been revealed for the collaboration. SEGA has launched a special website for the collaboration that also includes a new pre-registration campaign. When the number of pre-registrations hits 20000, Bayonetta will be released. There are lower tiers as well that get you Muscle Dew, Special Summon File, and Gems. This event will let players summon Bayonetta, Jeanne (from the Bayonetta franchise), and a divine angel enemy. This pre-registration campaign will last until Bayonetta is available in game which depends on pre-registrations.

The collaboration event for Dx2 Shin Megami Tensei: Liberation hasn’t been given a date yet but it has been confirmed for release in the near future going by the pre-registration campaign. Download Dx2 Shin Megami Tensei: Liberation and start recruiting demons now on the App Store and Google Play for free. The official English website is available here. If you’d like to checkout the Bayonetta games, the best place to play them right now is the Switch release which has both games togethat that are also fully playable with touch controls.
