Pearl Abyss, the team behind the popular MMORPG Black Desert Online has finally posted some informaton about the mobile version. Black Desert Mobile is a smartphone MMORPG based on the Black Desert Online IP. The team posted a short teaser video that has gameplay including mining, fishing, and some combat. There's also horse riding shown off and the engine used here is one built for mobile platforms and not the one powering Black Desert Online on PC. While all the clips are pretty short in the teaser, you can see some interesting things like the short draw distance while riding a horse and how damage numbers are displayed in combat. Watch the gameplay teaser below:

Black Desert Mobile is set to release in 2017 and Pearl Abyss will be revealing more information later. The official website for Black Desert Mobile is live and we'll keep you posted when we know more about this upcoming mobile MMO. If you're curious about the PC game that this is based on, have a gander over here.

Beautiful for sure! Maybe an optimised Unreal 4 engine? Because Blade 2 is likely to come out looking beautiful too and its all Unreal 4. Lineage 2 is no slacker either. But i can guarantee that the battery life will be horrid with these MMORPG GAMES that look like this

Just for these games I bought a 3 meter iPhone cable.

      Try Crusaders of Light

      • Tychaeus

Pft...crusaders of light. The ONLY real MMO on mobile is still Order and Chaos. I would love to see another true blue mmo on mobile, like O&C, but with a wider variety in classes...crusaders of light sadly is not a worthy mmo...its auto battle, buggy manual control, heap of waste like every other mobile game saying its an mmo. I don't get why they are so popular cuz they are insanely boring.

        Couldn't agree more

      • Chaorro

Runescape's coming to mobile, so that'll be fun.

Albion will be worth it if it ever gets out of development. Pc has been in beta for so long now it's not even funny anymore.

      • Rothgarr

Agreed. Albion was kinda fun at first but I found it turned into a grind pretty early.

      • Stetch

I never said it was good :p Yes I agree with you. Order and Chaos is the way better deal.

  • Alex_Gol

Looks kinda far off for a mobile game, but let's wait and see.

  • Pyroknight

Damage numbers??? Mobile version already better than pc

  • Ron

I hope it's not another HIT clone and actually an MMO. Crossing my fingers. Please don't suck, please don't suck, please don't suck...

Everything in that teaser appears to be straight from the PC version in terms of locations. It's going to be interesting to see if there is any way of linking your PC account to this version. Just started playing the PC version about 3 weeks ago and it's easily the most complex MMO I've ever come across.
