We are getting another Assassin's Creed game on mobile, and this one is going in a different direction than previous iterations. Assassin's Creed Rebellion takes players back to the 15th century and the Spanish Inquisition and has them building their own Assassin Brotherhood. The game pulls together 40 different Assassins, some you will know and some new ones, that you get to unlock as you go along. The word "unlock" should give you an idea of how this free-to-play game will play.

As you can see from the trailer above, the game looks like Fallout Shelter in the way you have an HQ with different rooms that enable you to train your Assassins and craft new items and equipment. As you level up, more rooms become available. You'll be able to take a team of three Assassins, each with their own skills, on various missions. The art is very different different from your typical Assassin's Creed game, but it does look appropriate for this kind of game. The game will be coming out for Android and iOS "soon," and it has just soft launched in the Philippines. If you want to check it out, use our soft launch guide.

I dig the chibi assassin design. I'm cautiously optimistic about this one.

Can't wait for the AC F2P match-three, fighter, and rhythm tapper. Man, they're going to go through every genre with their F2P offerings, aren't they?!

30minutes in. Combat is fun, strategic and gruesome! Base building gives me fallout shelter vibes due to camera view with most base builders 'limit on what can be built based on your level' system. Collecting your heroes is much like Marvel Future Fight and the like. Collecting 'biometrics' to acquire and more biometrics to upgrade the star quality. Actually leveling up your heroes works more like fallout shelter involving training rooms. Stages are storybased and there are also standard random spawns.

This one feels really good so far. Only thing missing in the iap department is a subscription system. Since I'm not really phillipines Im not worried yet.
