The new iOS 10, with its myriad new features, is set to launch on September 13th, just ahead of the new iPhone 7. There aren’t a whole lot of new core gaming features – Game Center as an app is kind of disappearing, with more of a deep system integration. And iOS 10 will have new graphics and feedback tech for the iPhone 7. The new lockscreen widgets could be used for games, though it’s not like the notification center widgets were all that essential. Perhaps the more prominent nature of lockscreen widgets will see them used more than previous implementations.
