Halfbrick Teases More ‘Colossatron’, Set to Launch this Year

It was back in July at PAX Australia that Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride developer Halfbrick unveiled their latest creation Colossatron: Massive World Threat, but we haven’t heard a whole lot about the title since. This week Halfbrick has debuted a new teaser trailer for Colossatron, framed as a faux news report to go along with the whole “massive world threat" thing. Colossatron can best be described, at least to my knowledge, as Snake meets Zuma as you’ll be matching different colored “Powercores" into the massive snake known as Colossatron’s body as it goes on its destructive rampage. This latest teaser shows a little bit about how those Powercores work.

As you can see at the end of the trailer, Colossatron is scheduled for release in 2013, which means it’s gotta be coming pretty darn soon as the end of the year is quickly approaching. I love basically anything that Halfbrick does, so of course I’m quite excited to check out their latest offering. Once we get word of a firm release date or any other new information we’ll be sure to let you know. In the meantime hit up our forums for more discussion, and seeing as it’s November and all, check out this heartwarming PSA from Colossatron’s General Moustache urging men to cover their upper lips with a thick coat of facial hair in support of Movember.
