Level-5 has announced a new RPG title called Wonderflick which is heading to just about every platform you can think of, VG 24/7 reports. That includes iOS, Android, PlayStation 3 and 4, Vita, Wii U and Xbox One. What is really interesting is that all the various versions will utilize a cross-save functionality that Level-5 is calling Uniplay, which sounds like you’ll be able to continue your progress on the platform of your choice without issue. However, Level-5 does note that each version of the game will contain unique content to that platform, so it doesn’t quite sound like you’ll be playing the exact same games across each. The following trailer shows what the mobile versions of Wonderflick will be like.
The battling definitely looks cool, and the “flicking" during it is actually how the game gets its name. Unfortunately, a Western release for Wonderflick hasn’t been confirmed yet, so it’s up in the air whether or not we’ll be seeing it here in the US. In Japan though, Wonderflick is set to arrive on mobile in November, with the console releases following sometime in 2014. If we get any word on it coming stateside we’ll be sure to fill you in.
