Oh man, if there's one thing I always really enjoy it's taking a look at super early prototypes or concepts from during a game's development. It's just so interesting to see what directions a game might have been going in and comparing it to how it actually ended up. The good news for me is that Simogo has delivered a treasure trove of cool stuff over on their blog showing the development of their latest release Year Walk [$3.99]. Here's just a taste of what they've dug up.

Definitely check out the full blog post from Simogo, as there's a lot more images to check out and each one has a little description of just what exactly it is and where it fit into Year Walk's evolution. More stuff should be coming in a future blog post too, so keep an eye out for that. And of course check out our review of Year Walk if you haven't already, as this is one of the most unique and captivating iOS titles available and it's not something you want to miss.

I haven't finished the game yet, but I looked anyway - there aren't really any spoilers if you've already poked through the Companion app. Really cool to see their in-progress shots and read about their thought process & artistic influences!
