Late last month, Rockstar announced that their second open-world Grand Theft Auto game Vice City would be getting the same 10 year anniversary treatment on iOS that the original Grand Theft Auto III [$4.99] got last year. Just over a week ago, we learned that GTA: Vice City would be coming on December 6th (next week!) at a price of $4.99. Today, Rockstar has released a new trailer for the anniversary port of Vice City. Fair warning: it's got a couple of spots of rough language, so if there's any youngsters about just tell them "earmuffs."

I rather enjoyed the touchscreen version of GTA III last year, despite its excessive use of virtual buttons. With a little practice and the right expectations it's actually quite playable, and it's a great feeling toting around a huge open world in your pocket for whenever the urge for mischief strikes. Vice City is an improvement over GTA III in just about every way, and has a killer style. I really can't wait to throw it on my device come next week, and the folks in our forums are super-duper pumped for it as well.

Rockstar Games has released a new trailer for Grand Theft Auto: Vice City in part to celebrate the upcoming 10th anniversary of the game as well as the upcoming mobile release. The video is filled with plenty of nostalgic footage to enjoy including a rather large man dry humping the air in a restaurant in front of two women. Of course that's just normal in this game.

      • josh nolan is that one

Running from the cops with "I Ran" by Flock of Seagulls blaring over the radio is one of the most epic events in gaming history.

San Andreas was the bomb in gameplay. But Vice City wins in atmosphere, story and MUSIC

Swing and a miss. The music in San Andreas owns.

It's worth 4.99 just to have all that great music.

      Yes it is!

  • Firetruck94

    Dat music.

  • Lamar Taylor

I love this game just for the music and mayhem you can cause. Everything else is just icing on the cake. Gotta snatch this up next week right away!!!

Would be nice if Rockstar would spend five minutes uncrippling the graphics in GTA3 for iPad 3/4. There's really no excuse why they've left it looking like crap for 8 months when all they have to do is copy a damn config file from the iPhone 4S profile to the iPad version. Get off your fat asses, Rockstar.

I'd be all excited about this but the sad reality that cheats won't be included means I won't waste my time venturing through the game again. I've 100%'d all of the 3D GTA's to date but not going to frustrate myself with this cheatless version on mobile. Enjoy peeps
