The week of weird PR shenanigans continues with Ubisoft's surprise release of Assassin’s Creed Recollection [$2.99]. We've been posting about the few details that Ubisoft has been leaking out, specifically how the game boasts things like "deep tactical gameplay" and "challenging political battles."

Now that the game is finally released, we'll get to see just how challenging these political battles are. Hopefully my opponent doesn't use the "reveal 13 year long affair" ability. We're downloading the game now and hope to have a review up shortly!

I'm curious about this one. It could be right up my alley, or it could just be an interactive ad.

Been playing for a couple of days now. This game is so much fun. I've never been into card games before, and even though there are tons of information to process and understand as a newbie the game is extremely enjoyable.

In other words, love it so far, and I don't even care about Assassin's Creed nor the genre in general. Good stuff!

For those of us who don't have iPads, is this going to be an iPad only title? Any chance we'll see it on the iPhone?

I don't think Assasin's Creed is my kind of game, but that's just me. I prefer FPS games like Call of Duty Zombies or Rage. It's just my kind of play style, not RPG's like this one. If I were to recommend any First Person Shooter game in the app store, it would have to be.. Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation (Read a review here: The game is truly amazing and feels so much like Modern Warfare. The controls are optimal on the iPad and is even good on a small device like the iPhone. I would get it if I were you. Cheaper than most PC games!

Got it the other day and been playing a bunch. But with regards to unlocking a bunch of cards, you can't replay SP missions for more credits to unlock cards. Do you earn more for MP matches as well? Or is the only way to buy animus credits.
