The screen shot reminds me of the 1996 game from Gremlin(Eidos) called Actua Soccer.

You think they are pushing all these high-powered games out before the tuesday announcement for a reason? ;P

Yet another game that proves just how badly we need a gaming pad add-on for the iphone. I noticed in one of the screenshots in the store that they just put a d-pad and A and B button on the touchscreen. If we're going to go that far, can we just have the real thing!?!
I too will wait for a few reviews on this, but it gets my hopes up for an american football game as well!

Reminds me of VR Soccer that came with my PowerMac 6500, my first mac. Fond memories of that game.

Instantly bought it. First impression:
It's a nice football game for a good price.
While the on screen controls are not to bad, most the teams and players have strangely altered names. I can recommend it for all the Spanish folks out there as the Premiera Division is fully originally featured. As my favorite teams is Bayern Munich and of course the German national team I'm not so lucky.
Gameloft needs to add both multi player wifi mode and an editor so I can at least manually change Rahm to Lahm, Schveinstein to Schweinsteiger, Ribario to Ribéry, Bodolski to Podolski and so on.

The PSP is dead to me!
Honestly, this is a great game - very much like the early FIFA's and certainly a great deal like Actua Soccer.
All those worrying about the controls and frame rate need not bother, they are both more than fine.

I never had any framerate issues.

This game is really good, i purchased it for $9.99 and it wasn\'t worth $9.99…
it was worth like $13
Really good game that plays well. Decent graphics, good sound, good ball physics, lots of teams (though not all are licensed, thus, some names are change..for example..Landon Donovan is Landon Dovovan..or Klose into Close), acurate team/player stats, lots of stadiums, weather conditions, lots of tournaments and cups, usual soccer team editing options and just simply great gamplay.

only if this had a feature like master league…
where you can transfer players and stuff…
oh btw.
if Football Manager comes out for ipod touch/iphone..
it'll be a R E A L killer….
p.s still hoping for square enix to start develping some games!
it'll totally own ALL APPS AND GAMES :_O
