Originally announced for just Japan, Tales of Crestoria was soon confirmed for a worldwide release in 2019. Tales of Crestoria is a brand new Tales of game for iOS and Android. Today, an update on the official English website for the game has revealed a delay for the release in Japan and the West with some more story details announced. Tales of Crestoria features an original cast unlike earlier mobile entries. This includes Kanata Hjuger, Misella, Vicious, Aegis Alver, Yuna Azetta, and more original characters. If you missed details for its showing at TGS 2018, read Shaun’s post here. Today, Tomomi Tagawa (Producer on the game) confirmed that the release has been pushed beyond 2019. The delay is to focus on quality improvements for the release. The main story will be fully voiced in Japanese and feature lots of cut-ins that will probably be like the skits in Tales of games.
Tales of Crestoria was set to release in the West this year but more details will be revealed in December. The team will also announce in game features and showcase a bit of the opening video at the December reveal. Check out the official English website here.
