‘Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage’ Launching on iOS and Android December 7th, New Trailer Released

It was just over two years ago in August of 2019 that SEGA in partnership with Colorful Palette announced a new mobile game starring everybody’s favorite virtual idol Hatsune Miku. The game was formally announced the following October as Project Sekai: Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku, and almost a year later it released for mobile devices in Japan only. We figured a localized version would arrive at some point, but didn’t anticipate that it would take as long as it has so far. At the end of August an English version was officially announced as Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage, and an open beta took place earlier this month. Today SEGA and Colorful Palette are finally ready to announce that Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage’s launch is all set for December 7th. Here’s a brand new trailer.

This latest trailer showcases the many characters and bands that will be part of Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage’s storyline. There’s “The High School Rock band" Leo/need; “The Idol group" MORE MORE JUMP!; “The Street group" Vivid BAD SQUAD; “The Entertainment group" Wonderlands x Showtime; and “The Online Music group" Nightcord at 25:00. The PR states that “From these five bands, players will enjoy a variety of songs and their fully-animated 3D music videos. Additionally, the game offers players the chance to participate in virtual live performances from their favorite in-game bands and engage with the community, participate in online events and earn rewards such as exclusive stamps." Look for Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage when it arrives on iOS and Android this December.
