Following the August announcement from Sega about a global release for Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage for iOS and Android, the publisher has revealed an open beta for the global release. Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage is a rhythm game meets visual novel experience featuring Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, Megurine Luka, Kaito, and Meiko that released as Project Sekai Colorful Stage featuring Hatsune Miku in Japan. The full release will feature five difficulty modes with support for solo or play with friends. An open beta for the game begins today at 3 PM PDT on both iOS and Android with half of the group story episodes playable. The open beta will not have in app purchases included. New events, songs, and shows will be added during the open beta which will go on until October 19th worldwide. Save data from the Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage open beta will not transfer to the full version of the game. With 28 playable songs and 13 more to come through the beta period, this will let you get a good taste of what Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage has to offer when it launches globally.
