The Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series on iOS and Android will be releasing beginning July 28th with Final Fantasy 1, 2, and 3. Today, Square Enix has released a Q&A for the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster. This confirms that while Steam has a discounted bundle purchase option available for the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series, there will be no bundle on iOS and Android initially. It may come in the future but will not be available initially because not every storefront supports bundles. Square Enix already has a bundle on iOS and has done bundles before so hopefully we do get one soon on iOS at least. The music player in the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series will let you listen to all songs from the game regardless of your game progress. Check out a screenshot from the music player below:
The music in the games included in the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series has been re-arranged by Nobuo Uematsu. Just like the music player, the gallery mode will let you view artwork, monsters, characters, and more right from the start regardless of your game progress. The Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series will also have a Monster Book that lets you register monsters and mark them on the map. The Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series is priced beginning $11.99 each for Final Fantasy 1 and 2. Final Fantasy 3,4,5, and 6 are priced at $17.99 each going by the Steam bundle page.
If you missed it, the Final Fantasy game App Store and Google Play listings that have been updated to reflect that they are (Old versions), will be delisted and replaced with the new Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster versions beginning later this month. If you own and have them installed, you should have updates indicating the name change now. Check out the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster games on Steam here. What do you think so far and will you be buying the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster games on iOS if you already owned prior versions?
