‘World’s End Club’ Featuring the Creators Of ‘Zero Escape’ and ‘Danganronpa’ Is This Week’s Apple Arcade Release and It Is Out Now

TouchArcade Rating:

About a month ago, Apple’s Apple Arcade section of the App Store on iOS 14 revealed four unannounced games for the service including Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time, The Last Campfire, and Next Stop Nowhere which all released. World’s End Club from Izanagi Games and Too Kyo Games was listed for a September 4th release on Apple Arcade and it has finally arrived on the service. World’s End Club is a game I’ve been following since 2018. It was originally revealed for PC platforms only back in October 2018. The game’s scenario has been written by Kotaro Uchikoshi of Zero Escape fame and the creative director for World’s End Club is Kazutaka Kodako of Danganronpa fame. World’s End Club blends 2D side-scrolling action with puzzles and story-driven adventure gameplay. Watch the trailer for it below:

World’s End Club has branching story paths featuring 12 characters and locatons across Japan. The game is set in a primary school in Tokyo where a school trip accident has the members of a club waking up in a theme park underwater. After Izanagi Games brought the excellent Death Come True to iOS, Android, Nintendo Switch, and PC, I’ve been waiting to see what they bring next to mobile. Read my review of Death Come True here. World’s End Club is now available on Apple Arcade here in many parts of the world. I can’t wait to dive into it later today. Check out the official website for World’s End Club here and our forum thread here. The game will be coming to Nintendo Switch in 2021 as revealed in the new trailer as well. For all Apple Arcade related things, check out our dedicated Apple Arcade forum for discussion on the service and every game included here. What do you think of the newly revealed games?
