‘Gangstar Vegas’ Goes Free as More Holiday Sales and Freebies Hit the App Store

More games are going dirt-cheap or even free in this busy holiday period. We covered Skullduggery ($2.99) going free last night, but that’s not the only freebie. Gangstar Vegas (Free) from Gameloft has just dropped to nothing, as part of an update making the game free-to-play, with a new diamond currency to earn and buy. Cooperative gang battles and a number of new costumes, including holiday-themed ones, are available as well. Flick Golf HD ($0.99) from Full Fat has just dropped to free as well, in case you want to get some golf action in on your iPad.

Additionally, there’s a number of sales going on as well. Gameloft’s Modern Combat 5 (Free) got a price cut to $3.99. Oceanhorn ($6.99) got a spiffy visual upgrade and is currently on its first price drop, down to $4.99. Baldur’s Gate 2 ($9.99) is currently $9.99, down from its $14.99 asking price.
