Heads up! Skullduggery ($2.99) has just gone free on the App Store. This is a platformer where you fling a tax-collecting skull around a number of levels and fight various bosses, trying to collect coins and bop enemies. It’s kind of what Angry Birds would be like with its flinging if it was a platformer, and starred a skull, and was about collecting taxes from other skeleton-type creatures. So, not the same, but kind of in the same ballpark!
Our Andrew Fretz gave the game 4.5 stars in his review, calling the game a bit repetitive but with a great concept and fantastic controls. He also got all the head/skull jokes out of his system with the review. I have not. Getting this regularly-priced $4.99 game for free? That’s using your head! Also, since it’s a game about a skull I can use skeleton puns. This game costs you no bones! No bones about it, you should buy this game! It won’t break the bank! These jokes are funny…bone! This freebie won’t last long, so break a leg and go download it! Or otherwise, alas, poor Yorick, you will miss this game of infinite jest, of most excellent fancy.
While I love the new version I am very very disappointed that the original one does not work on the new iPhone 6. I bought it when I had an iPhone 5 and never got to finish it and wanted to play it... I bought the new one and enjoy it but still seems a bit crappy that they won't get the first version fixed to work on the newest iPhone or os.
It won't let you restore and it won't let you even re-buy it.
There's a fix for the issues with the original in submission. In fact it may have been released already! (It was to do with the jump to iOS 8 and initialising of the IAP system if anyone's interested).

It isn't, but that's the simplest way of describing it. We've even used that moniker ourselves, but we do go on to say it's much more than that.
