If you’re a fan of turn-based games and like historical accuracy (to the extent possible), you should check out the upcoming Predynastic Egypt in our Upcoming Games forum thread. Predynastic Egypt is being created jointly with Egyptologists and will have you leading a nomadic Egyptian tribe from 5000 B.C. all the way to the Unification of Lower and Upper Egypt. The game simulates over 100 events like wars, droughts, epidemics, religious ceremonies, and much more. The game also includes a historically accurate tech tree and cultural achievement tree.
Predynastic Egypt uses an accurately reconstructed map of Ancient Egypt that even includes climatic changes of the period. As I said, the developers seem to really be striving for historical accuracy, and that’s quite cool. The game will be coming out this month, and if you’re an iPad Min user, they might have a beta build for you. Check out more about the game on our forum thread.
