A few weeks back we wrote about Castle Battles, an upcoming game that hopes to turn the classic 4X-style mechanics into fast, action packed matches that last minutes rather than days and weeks, and now we know that the game will release April 25th. Castle Battles has you seeking to expand your empire by building castles in prime locations. Those castles allow you to collect resources that you then turn into massive armies. And, as is usually the case, you then use those armies to take down your enemies as efficiently as possible. The game’s art and color palette is quite lovely too as is its electronic music soundtrack.
Castle Battles will bring 40 levels spread out over 4 campaigns, so plenty of content to devour. Get ready to lead hundreds of troops at the same time and rushing to take down everyone and everything in your path. The game will be a premium app and will release on both iOS and Android.
