Shovelware Games’ Zombie Match Defense feels like the perfect game for our times – mix zombies with match-3 and tower defense? Well, maybe tower defense isn’t the most popular genre any more, but hey, people still love them some Plants vs. Zombies ($0.99) and Plants vs. Zombies 2 (Free) is still getting regular content updates. While the game has seen a lot more development since then, you can get the gist of the game from the hands-on video with developer Jake Sones we got at GDC:
This one’s looking pretty solid, and it should be available for everyone to play next Thursday, October 22nd. The game will be a premium release, too. We’ll see just how fun killing zombies by matching brains will be for ourselves next week. Check out the forum thread for more!
