Neutronized, makers of the fantastic Drop Wizard [$1.99] and Lost Yeti [$1.99], have just revealed the title and trailer of their Metroidvania-themed platformer, and it's called Asterism. This puts a Fez-inspired twist on the 2D art and platforming Neutronized has generally done, as you control Jin, who must jump between dimensions to help save Coy. Check out the trailer:

Neutronized mentioned a while back that they were doing a game with "some Metroidvania elements and a deep story." I'm a huge fan of their art and games, and I'm curious to see just how the perspective-changing stuff comes into play. That's failing to mention what they've got planned with the story, which appears to be a huge part of the game. Asterism has shot up my list of anticipated games, and like me, you'll want to keep an eye on the forum thread for the game, where Neutronized is discussing the game.

This looks friggin' amazing. I love a game with a well put together, intricate storyline (I'm a sucker for the lore in video games and bought all the Infinity Blade books). This game looks like they put just as much emphasis on the story as they did the intriguing gameplay mechanics that I can't wait to play with. I watch listed the HELL outta this game.

Looks very special I think that graphics can make or brake a game a lot of high end graphic games has sometimes zero gameplay,a good story with good sound and matching gameplay is in my few more important than slick graphics. There are a view programmers that has that talent to bring all those things to a totall package
