GDC 2015: ‘Spider: Rite of the Shrouded Moon’ is Finally Near Completion

One of the coolest games from back in the earlier days of iOS was Spider: The Secret of Bryce Manor (Free), and there’s a sequel that’s quite near completion that’s looking mighty promising. Spider: Rite of the Shrouded Moon promises more arachnid adventures, as you solve puzzles, eat bugs, and explore creepy locations, with mysteries going on in the world. Tiger Style Games wants the story to be a bit more prevalent than it was in the original, where you could only find things out if you paid very close attention. Here, it’s a bit more out in front, but the game promises more in the way of mysteries and story to find. Check out some of the game in action.

The game is meant to take about a month or so to play, as weather and moon cycles will come into play based on your current location and time. The studio is trying to keep a lot of the game hidden until people actually get to play it for themselves. The game is nearing the end of development, and you should hopefully get to play it by the end of spring or early summer.
