Kairosoft continues to bring their vast library of simulation games over to the world of iOS, the latest being World Cruise Story [$4.99] which has been available on Android for quite some time. As you might have guessed, World Cruise Story is all about creating the greatest luxury cruise liner in the world. Here's a look at some screens from the Android version (since the screens in the iOS App Store are kind of garbage).

If you're familiar with Kairosoft games, and you're intrigued at the prospect of creating your own luxury cruise liner, then give World Cruise Story a shot. Unfortunately, we're swamped here at GDC so I don't have any impressions to offer as I haven't had a chance to try it out myself yet. But, Kairosoft games are all pretty similar to each other so chances are if you like their previous games you'll like this one too. Also, check out our forums for more discussion.

Kairosoft are the Netflix of games: You pay 5$ a month to binge-play for a few hours or days.

About damn time Kairosoft! Kidding but not at the same time! I've been waiting for this to cross over to iOS for a long while!

I just started playing Game Dev about 4 days ago.. Not sure why I like it, but I do..... 8 to 10 hours so far, so I should like this one. $4.99 seems a it much, though, for such a simple game. Strangely compelling, I guess.

For a second I thought Kairosoft was at GDC! This studio really deserves an "Origins story" feature here.

On the iPad note, their early games would scale up well to the iPad and they improves the text a lot in the most recent releases. Want to try it now

No iCloud, no Game Center with Achievements, no support. What is wrong with them???
