The wait for Ms. 'Splosion Man on iOS is almost over, guys! During a chat with Joystiq today at PAX East, creator Twisted Pixel said that the long-awaited iOS version of the awesome platformer will hit by the end of March. That's ... soon!

Also of note, Joystiq says this version of the game will be the series' debut of power-ups, one of which will allow you to skip levels if they're too hard.

We've been waiting for this one for a long time, so it'll be nice to get our hands on it at the end of this month. We'll let you know what we think then. Here's the old reveal trailer if you need your memory tickled, by the way:

Frustratingly fun game! Though the install size is probably gonna turn some people away if it is remotely close to the 2GB size of the XBLA version.

Why would you do MS splosion man first? It's seems just Splosion man would be the right move. I'm not complaining it just seems more logical to start with your first game.

      ...why is it logical?

    • echo_pdx

To clarify: I know they also did a splosion man game, but ms. splosion man is a better game in every way, I don't see any logical reason why they'd bother with a splosion man port.

Not a fan of ports. Whould be awesome with a orignal game.

Yeah, great, I guess. But are we also going to be getting Ms. Splosion Man Pinball from Zen?

This game is epic fun. Not sure how anyone could complain about this being a port, when it feels native, looks fantastic and utilises touchscreen controls very well.
