Last week we announced the first follow-up title from Disc Drivin' [$2.99 / Free] developer Pixelocity Software called Danger Boat. While the few details and screens in the announcement painted a pretty good picture of what to expect from the upcoming endless boating game, today Pixelocity have gone a step further with the first trailer of Danger Boat which shows the game in motion. Check it out.

I've been playing an early build of Danger Boat this past week and can confirm that it's a lot of fun. If you've got a soft spot for endless high scoring games that feel perfectly suited to mobile, then you'll want to keep your eye out for it. Danger Boat is said to be set for release soon, and you can visit our forums for more discussion as it gets ready to arrive in the App Store.

They need to focus on updating Disc Drivin' first. It's been years, and there's still no way to do basic things like quit a game that's taking too long, choose a specific track for a random game, or play one-player.

I always want to play Disc Drivin', but end up looking at my maxed-out list where no one takes their turn.

To be honest, I'd just be happy if they did come out with a new game that was as addictive as Disc Drivin'. This just looks generic and dull.
