Back at E3 in June, EA and Firemonkeys announced they were rebooting one of the most beloved entries in their long-running Need For Speed series, specifically Need For Speed Most Wanted. We even got to go hands-on with the game during the event and were quite impressed with it, not just because it's one of the most visually splendid games we've seen on iOS but also because it played extremely well, retaining the arcade handling and frantic police chases that the series is known for.

Today, EA has released a new trailer showing off Need For Speed Most Wanted on mobile, and although it's brief, it gives an exciting glimpse into what we can expect from the title.

Need For Speed Most Wanted is looking sharp, and with the other half of Firemonkeys toiling away at Real Racing 3 in the same building as the Need For Speed team, you can tell they're each pushing each other's games to crazy new heights. Both simulation and arcade racing fans will have a lot to look forward to from Firemonkeys this year, that's for sure.

Need For Speed Most Wanted is scheduled for release this month, and we'll have more on it as the release date draws near. In the meantime hit up our forums for even more discussion on this highly-anticipated upcoming racer.

Really looking forward to this! I have a lot of confidence in what Firemonkey may have contributed to this game!

Looks awesome! But Real Racing 3 better come first!!!

      I agree.

  • Deixa

Hope it has touch screen controls

      I agree, again.

What ever happened to the burnout 2 types of crashes where the cars would really get demolished to ash! I've been waiting for something similar in iOS for a while.

Now, let's call Firemonkeys Firemint again, shall we? 🙂

      Actually Firemonkeys are not Firemint.
But Firemint is part of Firemonkeys.

ON: I will buy the game, if it will be universal and have game center support.

All I see is Real Racing 2 engine plus a few typical NFS sportscars. When hoping for a mobile version of the best NFS game, all they come up with is showing a police car. >.>
