The 'Star Command' Developers Just Released the Best Teaser Ever

We've been covering Warballoon's Star Command for over a year now, and every time they release some new screenshots or do anything else I get a little more excited. Check out the new teaser, and make sure you watch it to the end:

No release dates more specific than "summer" have been announced yet, but, needless to say, we're super stoked.

        You just made my day. Since I bought my new ipad, I barely use my ipod touch. I was scared that this game would be iphone only. Knowing there is an ipad version makes me happy. Add a comment about retina support on ipad and I'll love you even more.

        Yeah same here.  Thought this was only for iPhone...glad to know there will be an iPad build.  Will this be a universal release?  I'm more than likely to buy a game if it's universal, but this is a game I definitely want to buy on release day.

      I'm excited about the game.  I enjoyed the promo video.  But the ending ... gotta quote Paul Hopper's awkwardly framed quote, "on the toilet when it releases!"
      I could've done without the shot of the hairy legs on the crapper.  Oh well.

    The youtube comments on this trailer are adorable.  The game easily one of my most anticipated games of 2011.

      No IAP. DLC campaigns are free. Expansions, like away teams (ability to visit planets) will have a small fee.

        Woah, woah, woah! Stop the clock! A couple of hours? DLC campaigns notwithstanding where does the replayability come in? After finishing the initial campaign, what's going to keep us playing on and on (again, not considering DLC)?

    As a father of two young ones I know all too well that the bathroom is a sacred sanctuary. This trailer made my day ... and as a scifi fan I'll probably be buying the game when it's released.

    I dont know why this is called the best teaser? because of finding a teaser video at last or for the best images in the teaser? what exactly? Because I have watched a lot of teasers later and there is something different in this.
