Ms. Pac Man is One of the First Game Center Games

So, Namco's Ms. Pac-Man is one of the first games to support Apple's new Game Center leaderboard system. As you can see from the screenshots, the game supports leaderboards and achievements through Apple's new social gaming network:

I'm sure we'll see more Game Center supporting updates shortly.

      Openfeint is going to continue going strong. They are supporting GameCenter so iPhone devs can use Openfeint for the userbase and GameCenter for the iOS specific features.

      Openfeint also announced Playtime! which will allow us iOS users to chat and play against Android users, in game voice chat for team play (like in an FPS), and more. Playtime will be out before the end of the year

    Game Center looks like a cheap Solitaire or Bridge game, so terrible.

      I gotta agree completely. wtf were they thinking with this layout? It gives me the urge to go to a Pool Hall or Casino. o_O?

        I'm sure as this matures, they'll make cosmetic changes...and it will be good to have one damn place to finally go to without annoying as hell facebook/twitter nags before each new game.

      I dunno... I kind of like it. It's very classy and reminds me of Clubhouse Games for NDS, which was one of my favorites back in the day.

        They really should make it skinable--let people choose what it looks like. That's what google would do...

      Ms. Pac-Man was also the first XBOX Live Arcade game on the original XBOX many years ago, around 2003 if I remember correctly. They gave it away for free with starter discs.

    Seems like Pac-MAN CE would have been a better choice considering the game was built around leaderboards but Ms. Pac is still my franchise favorate.

    In the "Game Center" site inside apple site appear games like Real Racing or NOVA... so, only pac-man? I dont understand.
    Another thing: If I open Game Center and go to games nothing appears, only a button like a title saying "search games" but, if I press this button the safari is opened and the Game Centre site is opened (this one: http://www.apple.com/ipodtouch/features/game-center.html). I cannot undersand how does it work,

    Is anyone else surprised there is only one game ready for launch... and that, that one game is some obscure old retro title not really associated with the iPhone?

    i do find it kind of funny that out of 576 apps in my library, so far not a single one of them have received a Gamecenter compatible update. If I we're Apple I would made sure I had a metric ass ton of the best games ready to go as soon i hit the switch on releasing 4.1.

    I'm obviously buying the wrong games. Who knew Ms Pac Man would be the winner not CE?!

    I really like this old school style of Game Center. Great and unique design decision. Just one odd thing. In Mrs. Pac Man it also lists me in the friends scores... this is weird :(

    Acidbottle, start the game up and it should pop a message up saying welcome back ............., thats what I had to do.

    If you have other games compatible you'll probably need to do the same with them. on a side not I played the game too.

    gamecenter has voice chat i play pool bar hustle online its the best pool game by far y cant we have voice chat on gameloft live so we can play racing games or shotting games like modern combat 2 with voice online come on you can do it lol
