Gameloft's $0.99 Thanksgiving Sale

We're not sure how long this is going to last, so if you've been thinking about picking any of these up it probably isn't a good idea to wait as they likely won't get any cheaper than this.

Wow! Amazing sale! Blows EA's (not one game I wanted even with the sale…SimCity almost, but why not just play on a better system?).

And will be Brothers in Arms, it won't let me buy right now though due to 'game being modified'.
Is Terminator or Brothers in Arms worth buying if you have Modern Combat: Sandstorm already?
At $0.99 each, I would say a big yes! But, try the lite versions first and see if you like them.

In that case, probably Blades then ( I just downloaded it myself) since you already have Modern Combat. Anyway, I would recommend playing the lite versions of all 3 games first and then choosing the one game you like.

This is in the U.S. app store BTW. If there keeps on being errors, then people are going to lose sales!
In the DK store I'm getting the same problem on Shrek Kart, no problem on Blades or Terminator
Bought Blades of Fury and Real Tennis without any hiccups (finnish store).
Is Shrek Kart any good? Already have Cocoto kart and Crash Bandicoot kart.
Does Shrek Kart have global multiplayer yet or just local?

I thought the same, because AppShopper and PandoraBox both still show the old $5 price, but in the actual iTunes store (US) Blades of Fury is indeed showing up at .99 for me
Shrek Kart does not have online multiplayer. For .99 its a steal but the game got boring fast and for some reason it doesnt save my cup progression and I have to always start over…still fun though
Thanks for the info, JCman7. Yes, $0.99 is great as the other two Kart apps I was considering (Cocoto Kart and Krazy Kart) don't quite have the polish of Gameloft apps.

OMG my thoughts exactly! ever since kotaku made the mistake of announcing it along with the PSP version for Oct 20th, I've been dying a little more every day.
I just hope it doesn't end up being yet another DISAPPOINTING iDevice port (I'm looking at you, RE4, Super Monkey Ball, Katamari Damacy, and Lumines Touch!)

Of the ones you listed, only RE4 was a port (from the BREW game). The rest are original made-for-iPhone/touch versions of those IPs. And, yes…there's a difference.
Technically, winter doesn't start until Dec 21 in the northern hemisphere so there's no sense crying foul just yet.

Wow! Played some of the tutorial stages of BIA and it seems to be one of the best shooters for small devices. Put on your headphones! Perfect stereo surround and fx sound like in cinema.

At least I now have Shrek Kart, BIA, Clue, Sims3, and MONOPOLY on my ipod.
I bought my 32gig touch for music. i didn't know anything about the good games on it when I bought it. .. slowly my apps/games have been taking more and more of my space and music has less space. ahhh.
now with all these wonderful games at low prices, it can't be helped. looking forward to playing BIA and Castle of Magic. amongst other games

Holy shit, so many sales…I don't know what to do…aghh!!!
I bought Blades of Fury, thinking it would be good for a few rounds. The game won't even load (tryed resetting, and deleting/re-downloading). Just a blank screen, and then crash. hmmm…..
Bought a couple of them. Speaking of Blades of Fury and Castle of Magic… I don't play a lot of platformers on my touch, so this may be a comment relevant to all of them… but I have a lot of trouble without any sort of tactile feedback with the onscreen controls… I find myself slowly moving my fingers away from where they're supposed to be on the screen, then dying inadvertently. Very annoying (especially in Castle). I wish I could get some sort of analog pad for the touch.
